About us
The Haematology Horizon medical website is an educational platform, developed by the AstraZeneca UK Haematology Medical Team, which contains a variety of content produced by experts in the field of Haematology-Oncology. Recognising the need to go beyond treating diseases in isolation, the content places emphasis on patient-centric, practical education, with the aim of driving positive patient outcomes and facilitating informed clinical decision making.
The website also offers information on our latest and upcoming events, designed to support healthcare professionals working in haematological malignancies to update, enable discussion, and share disease topics of high educational value to enhance patient care.

AstraZeneca’s Haematology Horizon Medical Masterclass 2024
Venue: AstraZeneca London Office, 2 Pancras Square
‘Beyond the data: Enhancing patient care through collaboration’ was an event organised by the AstraZeneca UK Medical Affairs team and designed to provide expert insights and facilitate best-practice learnings within the haemato-oncology community.
This 1-day meeting, chaired by Wendy Osborne, brought together a multidisciplinary team of haemato-oncology specialists to deliver a mix of presentations, interactive workshops and immersive case scenarios, to enhance patient care through engaging discussions.
